A DOT physical checks your vision, hearing, blood pressure, heart, lungs and overall health to be sure you can drive safely. We review your medical history, medications and any conditions that may affect driving. The exam follows FMCSA rules and is done by a certified medical examiner.
We follow the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines and National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners (NRCME) standards. These rules tell us when a driver is medically qualified, when extra testing is needed and how long your medical card is valid.

Most CDL DOT exams take about 20–30 minutes once your forms are filled out. If you have medical conditions that need extra review or paperwork, it may take a little longer. We work hard to keep your visit quick and on time.
The urine test is a simple screening that checks for issues like diabetes, kidney problems or other health concerns that could affect safe driving. It is not a drug test in this office. If anything looks unusual, we may ask for follow‑up with your regular doctor.
We are in central Phoenix at 8129 N 35th Avenue, Suite 3, near 35th Avenue and Northern Avenue. There is easy parking for trucks and personal vehicles. Look for the Advanced Chiropractic & DOT Exam sign when you arrive.
